Huw Edwards: Biography and Images

Huw Edwards is presenter of BBC News at Ten, Britain’s most popular television news programme.

Huw has been a BBC journalist for more than 25 years, and has anchored some of the BBC’s biggest outside broadcasts, including the Royal Wedding, the Inauguration of President Obama, the main ceremonies at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008, and the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010.

He will present coverage of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 and the main ceremonies at London 2012.

For the past decade, Huw has been the BBC’s voice at Trooping the Colour, the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, and the State Opening of Parliament. He has presented many Budget and Election specials, and since 2006 has hosted the daily programme BBC News at 5 on the BBC News Channel.

Huw is married with five children.
