Barry Petersen: Biography and Images

Barry Petersen is a CBS News correspondent based in Tokyo.

Petersen came to Tokyo after almost five years in the London bureau (1991-95). Before that, he was CBS News’ Moscow Bureau Chief and correspondent (1988-90).

He was born in Norfolk, Va. Petersen lives with his wife, Jan, also a journalist, in Tokyo and has two daughters.
